Our Secure Colocation services are delivered from within armoured, military grade facilities that are situated outside the perimeter of any city centre. Each system that we host is based upon our unique security model - which comprehensively addresses potential security threats.
The IDC is a purpose-built, highly secure facility operating 24 hours x 365 days a year. It comprises a built up area of 7,000 square metres, combining a high level of redundancy and fail-over capability with the capacity to cater for rapid growth in demand.

The IDC has been designed with, at minimum, N+1 redundancy principles applied. This means that in the event of failure of power, air conditioning or tele-communications the resulting load on back up systems is managed with no reduction in performance levels.

Unlike many other facilities of this kind, the earthwave IDC is carrier independent, with connections from the follwing carriers: Verizon Business, Optus, PowerTel, Uecomm, Telstra and Soul. High bandwidth Internet access is a feature of the facility. Installed telecommunications capacity is in excess of 1Gbps.
